make your SMART BRO connection faster

Hi guys i dont know if some of you are familiar with SMART BRO broadband connection but i have some tweaks here but before i post it i'd like to ask mr crack if he has a working TCP/IP hack other than "LvlLord’s Event ID 4226 Patcher" cause this software sometimes prohibit a user to access due to an administrative rights, thats why i need to have a working fully cracked tcp/ip hack. thanks in advance cracky

lvllords patch might make for more consistent, somewhat improved speeds, but there's no guarantee's here, it might not do anything at all.
It can't hurt your system though, and if it doesn't work, you can always revert to 10 halfopen connections by running the patch again.

Just use the patch, do what it tells you, when XP starts nagging the file has changed*it will ask you to insert SP2 cd*, hit cancell, confirm you want to keep the changes, then restart your system.
If it doesn't help, run the patch again to change back to the original 10 halfopen connections.

My experience is that the IP stack hacks can cause problems too, especially since this one modifies the driver itself, not just some registry values.

You should also remember that there is some overhead in TCP connections imposted by the various Layer 1-7 protocols. TCP itself involves 4 layers. That's a lot.

* Open the device manager via 'My Computer'
* Do not offer the Windows Tour anymore
* Avoid automatic links in the network neighbourhood
* Do not cache thumbnails
* Disable the search assistant
* Disable UAC (Vista only)
